The Innovation Microgrant program intends to provide critical early-stage funding to well-conceived projects that address shortcomings in pediatric healthcare.
Innovators in any role through the Seattle Children’s system may apply for support of their project to cover out of pocket developmental expenses such as design, prototyping, or specialized consulting.
Here is your chance! Lend your expertise to our innovators and advance their innovations.
Our Innovation Volunteers and Mentors program matches community members with diverse skill sets to innovators who need complementary domain expertise to solve their most pressing problems.
Provide informal, ad hoc advice through advisory group meetings or dive deep and help a project get over specific hurdles. Volunteer for a few weeks or more.
We work integrally with Seattle Children’s internal Innovation Team and Innovation Team employees are even part of the Guild. The Innovation Team is the frontline resource for Seattle Children’s Innovators (no matter their role) and can offload much of the project detail work from innovators. Innovation Team members draw on their expertise in design, engineering, project management, and startups to help move projects forward.
The Innovation Guild can help support meet Innovation project needs directly, either financially and or through helping to build bridges to collaborators or mentors beyond the hospital.
