Innovation Priorities

Our Initiatives

The Innovation Microgrant program intends to provide critical early-stage funding to well-conceived projects that address shortcomings in pediatric healthcare.
Innovators in any role through the Seattle Children’s system may apply for support of their project to cover out of pocket developmental expenses such as design, prototyping, or specialized consulting.

We work integrally with Seattle Children’s internal Innovation Team and Innovation Team employees are even part of the Guild. The Innovation Team is the frontline resource for Seattle Children’s Innovators (no matter their role) and can offload much of the project detail work from innovators. Innovation Team members draw on their expertise in design, engineering, project management, and startups to help move projects forward.

The Innovation Guild can help support meet Innovation project needs directly, either financially and or through helping to build bridges to collaborators or mentors beyond the hospital.
