Devin Prenevost
Treasurer
Devin Prenevost is a dedicated senior operations leader with an entrepreneurial spirit and a belief that getting ‘better every day’ is worth striving for.
Devin discovered his enthusiasm for business while working in the sports industry, where he honed his ability to maintain a keen eye for detail while still balancing the importance of long-term, strategic relationships. His hands-on experience reducing labor expenses through the establishment of volunteer programs, and generating corporate sponsorships, was foundational in establishing his vision of what is possible when teams are given the authority to improve their business.
After navigating health issues of his own, Devin decided to bring his passion to non-profit healthcare, joining Seattle Children’s Continuous Improvement department. 14 years later, Devin’s impact has been immortalized through improvement initiatives across the enterprise, bringing siloed services together to reduce costs while creating measurable, positive impact. Most notably, he supported the development and implementation of a supply chain methodology that has since become industry standard, and built Continuous Improvement Outreach, a study trip program focused on spreading improvement best practice while generating significant revenue to be reinvested in people development.
Currently, Devin is the Senior Director of Innovation & System Support Services, where his team is leading efforts to integrate Innovation methodology into a world-renowned Continuous Improvement approach. Their most recent win has been the establishment of the Custom Care service line, where they are using digital anatomy 3D printers to create life-like surgical models unique to complex patient needs, thus improving outcomes. Ultimately, Devin and his team are striving to create an environment where every Seattle Children’s faculty and team member have access to the resources they need to bring their improvements to life.
Devin received his BA in Business Communication from Western Washington University (Go Viks!) and his MBA from Northeastern University. He is a proud founding member of Seattle Children’s Innovation Guild, serving as Treasurer.
When he is not helping to improve the healthcare experience of patients and caregivers, Devin spends his time playing with his kids, planning golf trips, dreaming up his next business venture and searching for the perfect vegan, gluten-free apple fritter.
